Desert Safari: What It’s Like:
The fun starts when the safari guide comes to your place in Dubai and invites you to ride in his shiny 4×4 Land cruiser. The safari guide, a trained driver, sets the pace by ensuring everyone is safe and comfortable and answering all of your questions with ease. Your car speeds past fancy Dubai hotels, properties, and well-kept gardens on its way to the meeting point, where all the cars come together to form a convoy. Here you have time to take a walk, take a selfie, and enjoy the red desert. The land cruisers follow the leader and fight with the consistently changing and unpredictable sand dunes. When sand hits your car window, you might feel like the car is about to flip over, but the well-trained guide moves the car in a way that keeps you safe.
As the dune bashing reaches the top of the tallest dune nearby, the group stops so guests can take selfies with the setting sun as a romantic backdrop. You are going to our campsite, which looks like a traditional Bedouin home. You can ride a camel or go sandboarding before entering our camp, where we have a variety of ways to make you feel welcome. You’ll get cold juice, Arabic tea, and dates when you get there. Then there will be hot and tasty snacks to prepare you for a relaxing time at the camp. There are different places to do things at the campsite and a big open courtyard. A camel ride can take you far, or you can get a henna tattoo from a local artist. You can also take a picture of yourself in a Kandora for men or an Abaya for women to keep.
How to dress?
In the desert, you should wear something comfortable instead of something fancy. Put on a lot of sunscreens and bring something with you. Shades for your eyes will help you avoid getting direct sunlight in your eyes. It got cold quickly, and you should always bring some woollies, especially in the winter. Your shoes should be light and have open toes. Tight jeans, etc., could be too much, so wear knee-length clothes instead.

Important information:
- The biggest worry for pregnant females is that dune bashing can be challenging and bumpy. So, it’s more stressful for the woman who is pregnant. But we think the best way to do a desert safari is to rent a private 4×4 Land Cruiser. Your family and friends won’t miss the exciting dune bashing and will be able to do everything on the schedule.
- Seeing the beautiful Dubai Desert and taking part in one of the most exciting things you can do in Dubai is one of the most fun and exciting things to do. But not everyone is suitable for dune bashing and can handle the experience. We don’t recommend dune bashing for people over 65, pregnant women, babies younger than three years old, people with back or heart problems, and people who use wheelchairs. We highly recommend renting an exclusive 4×4 Land Cruiser for your safari.
- To ensure you get a seat, you can book well before the date you want to travel. This is especially important from October to April when there are a lot of tourists, and seats may be limited. But you can still book a few days ahead of time or even on the same day if there are seats available.
